Walking
From the Lowell Visitor Center located at 2 Parnell Way, start by heading southeast on Parnell Way towards Dutton Street. Turn left onto Dutton Street and walk for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Merrimack Street. At this intersection, turn right and continue walking for another 0.3 miles until you reach the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. From here, you will want to take the bus route #1 towards 'Lowell Connector' from the bus stop located just outside the auditorium. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the 'North Station' stop in Boston. Once you disembark, walk towards the North End, and after a short 10-minute walk, you will arrive at North Square.
Bus
Starting from the downtown Lowell area, head to the nearest bus stop on Merrimack Street. Board the MBTA bus #1 towards 'Haymarket' and stay on for about 25 minutes. You will need to get off at the 'Haymarket' stop in Boston. From there, exit the bus and walk for about 8 minutes towards the North End. Head east on Hanover Street, then take a left onto North Square. You will reach North Square shortly after.
Train
From the Lowell train station, board the MBTA train on the Lowell Line towards 'North Station' in Boston. The ride will take approximately 35 minutes. After arriving at North Station, exit the train and follow signs for the Orange Line subway. Take the subway towards 'Haymarket' and get off at the Haymarket station. From there, walk for about 10 minutes towards the North End, taking a left onto North Square.
