Walking
If you are in downtown Lowell, start by heading north on Merrimack Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Market Street. Turn left onto Market Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Central Street. Turn right onto Central Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street, and you will see signs directing you to the Lowell Connector. Follow the signs until you reach the North Washington Square area. Salem Common will be on your right.
Public Transit
From the Lowell City Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 375 Merrimack Street. Take the MBTA bus #350 towards Salem. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the Salem Common stop. The park will be directly in front of you, at North Washington Square.
