    Bus

    From downtown Lowell, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Merrimack St & Central St. Board the MBTA bus #67 towards Alewife Station. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Alewife' station. From there, take the Alewife subway (Red Line) towards Ashmont/Braintree for 4 stops and get off at 'Davis'. Once you exit the station, walk approximately 12 minutes to Union Square, Somerville.

    Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Lowell and head south on Merrimack Street. Continue to follow Merrimack Street until it becomes Route 3. Follow this road for about 2.5 miles. After you cross over the Mystic River, take a left onto Alewife Brook Parkway. Continue straight, and you'll find Union Square ahead. This walk will take approximately 1 hour.

    Bicycle

    If you're comfortable cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Lowell. Start from the center of Lowell, heading south on Merrimack Street. Follow Merrimack Street as it curves and becomes Route 3, cycling for about 2.5 miles. After crossing the Mystic River, turn left onto Alewife Brook Parkway. Union Square will be straight ahead. The bike ride should take around 20-30 minutes.
