    Getting There

    Walking

    Start at the Lowell City Hall located at 375 Merrimack St. Walk south on Merrimack St for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Dutton St. Turn left onto Dutton St and continue for about 0.2 miles. Then, turn right onto the Pawtucket Canal Walk and follow it for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the Lowell National Historical Park visitor center. From there, take a bus (MVRTA Route 1) heading towards the 'Lowell Connector' and get off at the 'Lowell Connector' stop. Transfer to the MBTA bus Route 67 towards Boston and get off at the 'Back Bay' stop. Walk about 0.2 miles east on Clarendon St, and you will arrive at the John Hancock Tower located at 200 Clarendon St.

    Public Transportation

    From the Lowell Train Station, take the MBTA train on the Lowell Line towards North Station in Boston. Once you arrive at North Station, transfer to the Green Line and take the 'C' or 'D' train towards Kenmore. Get off at the 'Copley' stop. From Copley Station, walk north on Clarendon St for about 0.2 miles to arrive at the John Hancock Tower at 200 Clarendon St.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Lowell. Start at the intersection of Dutton St and Merrimack St. Head south on Dutton St and then take a left onto the Merrimack Riverwalk pathway. Follow the pathway along the river for about 1.5 miles. At the end of the pathway, turn right onto the pedestrian bridge towards the North Canal. Continue on the cycle path until you reach the intersection with the Charles River Bike Path. Follow the bike path all the way to Boston. Upon entering Boston, navigate towards the Back Bay area and head to 200 Clarendon St, where the John Hancock Tower is located.
