Getting There

    If you are starting from the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center at 246 Market Street, head south on Market Street toward Merrimack Street. Turn left onto Merrimack Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Dutton Street. Turn right onto Dutton Street, and then take a left onto the Northern Canal Walkway. Follow the signs for the walkway, which is a scenic path along the Northern Canal.

    From the Lowell Transit Authority (LTA) bus terminal at 100 Thorndike Street, take the bus route 1 towards the 'Lowell Connector'. Get off at the 'Dutton & Merrimack' stop.
