Bus
From anywhere in Martha's Vineyard, head to the nearest VTA (Vineyard Transit Authority) bus stop. You will need to take the bus to the ferry terminal in Woods Hole. Once at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Falmouth. After arriving in Falmouth, you can transfer to a bus to Sandwich. Take the bus to Sandwich and get off at the nearest stop to Ed Moffitt Drive. From there, it's a short walk to the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center at 60 Ed Moffitt Dr.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Martha's Vineyard. Start by heading towards the ferry terminal in Woods Hole. You can bike to the ferry, and once you arrive in Falmouth, continue your ride towards Sandwich. Follow signs for Ed Moffitt Drive, and the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center will be on your right at 60 Ed Moffitt Dr.
Walking
Walking directly to the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center from Martha's Vineyard is not possible as it requires a ferry. First, walk to the ferry terminal in Woods Hole. Take the ferry to Falmouth, then walk or take a local bus towards Sandwich. From the bus stop or walking path, head towards 60 Ed Moffitt Dr where the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center is located.
