If you are in Vineyard Haven, start at the Vineyard Haven Ferry Terminal. Exit the terminal and head northeast on Main Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road (Route 27). Turn left onto Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road. After about half a mile, turn right onto Short Hill Road. Vineyard House will be on your left at 56 Short Hill Rd. The total walking distance is approximately 1 mile and should take about 20 minutes.

Continue straight for a short distance, and Vineyard House will be on your left at 56 Short Hill Rd. The biking distance is approximately 1 mile and should take around 5-10 minutes.
