Car
To reach Breakheart Reservation by car, start your journey on I-495 or I-95. If you're coming from the south, take I-95 North and merge onto I-93 North. Follow signs for Saugus and take exit 31 for Route 1 North. Continue on Route 1 North, then take exit 38 toward Saugus. Follow the signs to Breakheart Reservation, located at 177 Forest St, Saugus, MA 01906. There is free parking available at the reservation.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, begin by taking the MBTA Commuter Rail from any station in MetroWest to North Station in Boston. From North Station, transfer to the Orange Line subway towards Oak Grove. Get off at the Malden Center stop. From Malden Center, take the 132 bus towards Saugus. Get off at the stop closest to Breakheart Reservation, which is a short walk away at 177 Forest St. Please check the MBTA website for current schedules and fares, as bus and train fares apply.
