Car
If you are driving, start from a central location in MetroWest, such as Framingham. Take Route 9 East and merge onto I-90 East (Massachusetts Turnpike). Continue on I-90 for about 10 miles. Take exit 15 for I-95 North toward Waltham. After about 9 miles, take exit 37A for I-93 North toward Methuen. Continue on I-93 North for about 11 miles, then take exit 45 for I-495 North. Follow I-495 North for about 8 miles and take exit 40 for MA-133 West. Continue on MA-133 West for about 5 miles, then turn right onto Prospect Road. The reservation entrance will be on your left after approximately 0.3 miles.
Public Transportation
To reach Charles W. Ward Reservation using public transit, start by taking the MBTA Commuter Rail from Framingham Station on the Framingham/Worcester Line towards Worcester. Disembark at the Andover station. From there, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare (approximately 10-15 minutes) to reach the reservation at 34 Prospect Rd #42, Andover, MA 01810. Note that taxi fares can vary; expect around $15-$25 depending on traffic.
Walking/Biking
If you are near the reservation in Andover, you can walk or bike to Charles W. Ward Reservation. From downtown Andover, head north on Main Street, which will eventually turn into Prospect Road. Continue on Prospect Road for about 1.5 miles until you reach the reservation entrance. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes or use a bike for easier access.
