Car
If you're traveling by car from the center of MetroWest, you can take Route 495 North. Get on I-90 E from Route 135. Continue on I-90 E. Take exit 21 for I-495 N toward Marlboro. Merge onto I-495 N and take exit 21B for MA-85 N toward Westborough. Follow MA-85 N and take a right onto Cedar St. Hopkinton State Park will be on your left at 164 Cedar St, Hopkinton, MA 01748. Parking is available at the park entrance.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, start by taking the MBTA commuter rail from Framingham or Ashland to the Southborough station. From Southborough, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Hopkinton State Park, as there is no direct public transport available to the park. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes and cost around $20-30 depending on traffic.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can bike to Hopkinton State Park from nearby towns. Use the Sudbury River Trail as it connects through several areas in MetroWest and leads you towards the park. The final stretch will require traveling along Cedar St, so be cautious of traffic. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws.
Walking
If you are staying nearby and wish to walk to the park, ensure you follow Cedar St from Hopkinton or nearby residential areas. It is about a 30-minute walk from downtown Hopkinton. Be mindful of traffic and use sidewalks where available.
