If you're driving from downtown Framingham, head north on Route 126 (Washington St) until you reach I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike). Merge onto I-90 East and continue for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 18 for I-95 North toward Canton. Continue on I-95 for about 5 miles, then take exit 24B for Route 9 East toward Brookline. Follow Route 9 for about 2 miles, then turn right onto St Paul St. Continue on St Paul St until you reach the intersection with Freeman St, where Winthrop Square will be on your right.
Public Transportation
To reach Winthrop Square via public transportation, start by taking the MBTA Commuter Rail from South Station on the Framingham Line towards Framingham. Get off at the Brookline Village station. From there, transfer to the 60 bus towards Kenmore Station. Ride for 4 stops and get off at the St Paul St & Freeman St stop. Winthrop Square will be right at the intersection.
Car
For those coming from Natick, start by heading east on Route 135 (West Central St) until you reach I-95. Merge onto I-95 North, and then quickly take exit 24B for Route 9 East toward Brookline. Continue on Route 9 for about 2 miles, then turn right onto St Paul St. Winthrop Square will be at the intersection of St Paul St and Freeman St.
Public Transportation
If you're starting from Wellesley, take the MBTA Green Line D train from Wellesley to Kenmore Station. Transfer to the 60 bus toward Brookline Village, and ride it for about 15 minutes. Get off at the St Paul St & Freeman St stop, and you'll find Winthrop Square right at that intersection.
