Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Sheep Hill from the center of Mohawk Trail, start by getting onto MA-2 E from your location. Continue on MA-2 E for approximately 12 miles. Then, take the exit for MA-7 S toward Williamstown. After about 2 miles, turn right onto Sheep Hill Road. Follow this road for about 1 mile until you reach the parking area for Sheep Hill, located at the address: Williamstown, MA 01267. Be mindful of the local speed limits and road conditions.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Sheep Hill using public transportation, take a local bus service that operates in the Mohawk Trail region. You will need to find the nearest bus stop along MA-2 E or MA-7 S. Check the schedule for the bus that goes toward Williamstown. Once you arrive at the stop closest to Sheep Hill (you may need to ask the driver for the nearest stop), you can either walk or use a rideshare service to get to Sheep Hill Road. The walk from the bus stop to Sheep Hill is approximately 1 mile, so be prepared for a short trek.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer to cycle, you can bike from anywhere in Mohawk Trail by following the same route as vehicles. Start on the bike-friendly roads leading to MA-2 E. After approximately 12 miles of cycling, take the exit for MA-7 S and continue on this road for about 2 miles. Turn right onto Sheep Hill Road and follow it for about 1 mile. Note that cycling can be challenging due to traffic, so ensure you wear a helmet and follow safety guidelines.
