Getting There

• Car

  From Mohawk Trail, get onto Route 2 East. Follow Route 2 East for approximately 15 miles until you reach the junction with Route 7. Take the exit toward Route 7 South. Continue on Route 7 South for about 9 miles until you reach Williamstown. As you enter Williamstown, look for signs directing you to Taconic Trail State Park. The park entrance will be on your right, shortly after you pass the intersection with Route 43.

  To reach Taconic Trail State Park via public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Mohawk Trail to North Adams. Check the local bus schedules as they vary. Once in North Adams, transfer to the bus heading to Williamstown. Get off at the stop closest to Route 7. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile south along Route 7 to reach the park entrance.
