Car
From Mount Greylock State Reservation, head southeast on MA-43 S. Continue for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with MA-2 E. Take the exit toward MA-2 E and merge onto MA-2 E. After about 3 miles, take the exit for MA-112 S toward West Chesterfield. Continue on MA-112 S for around 5 miles, and you will find Chesterfield Gorge Reservation on your left at the address West Chesterfield, MA 01084. Look for the parking area.
Public Transportation
From Mount Greylock State Reservation, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach the nearest public transportation hub. The closest major bus station is in North Adams. From there, board a bus heading towards Greenfield. Upon arrival in Greenfield, transfer to a local bus that goes to West Chesterfield. Once in West Chesterfield, you may need to arrange for a local taxi service to reach Chesterfield Gorge Reservation, as public transport directly to the site is limited.
Bicycle
If you are cycling from Mount Greylock State Reservation, take the same route as the car directions: head southeast on MA-43 S for approximately 10 miles. Then, merge onto MA-2 E and follow it for about 3 miles. After that, take the exit for MA-112 S and continue for 5 miles until you reach Chesterfield Gorge Reservation. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all traffic safety rules.
