After about 30 minutes, get off at the Fall River Terminal. Once there, transfer to the R.I. Public Transit bus that goes towards Jamestown. You'll need to disembark at the stop closest to Fort Wetherill, which is on Fort Wetherill Road. From the bus stop, it's a short 10-minute walk to the park entrance.

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in New Bedford. Start by heading north on Route 18, following the bike lanes until you reach the bridge towards Swansea. Cross the bridge and continue on the bike path until you reach Route 138. Follow Route 138 north until you reach Jamestown. Once in Jamestown, look for signs directing you towards Fort Wetherill State Park. The park is located about a mile away from the center of Jamestown.
