If you're traveling by car, take I-95 North or Route 128 North towards Salem. Once you reach Salem, take the exit for Route 114 East. Follow Route 114 to the intersection with Washington Square. Salem Common is located at North Washington Square, Salem, MA 01970. There are parking lots available nearby, but be aware that some may charge a fee, typically around $1 to $2 per hour.

Public Transportation (MBTA Commuter Rail)
To reach Salem Common by public transportation, take the MBTA Commuter Rail from Boston’s North Station on the Newburyport/Rockport Line. Get off at Salem Station. From the station, it's about a 10-minute walk to Salem Common. Head south on Washington Street, then turn right onto North Washington Square. The Common will be on your left. Note that the fare from Boston to Salem is approximately $8.00 one-way.

If you're near a bus stop, you can take the MBTA bus route 450, 451, or 455 that goes to Salem. Disembark at the stop closest to Washington Square. From there, it is just a short walk to Salem Common at North Washington Square. The fare for the bus is $1.70.
