Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Provincetown, head east on Commercial Street toward Winslow Street. Continue straight on Commercial Street until you reach the intersection with Bradford Street. Turn left onto Bradford Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Route 6. Cross Route 6 carefully and continue straight onto the paved path leading into the Cape Cod National Seashore. Follow the path, which will lead you toward Highland Lighthouse. This walk is approximately 2.5 miles and may take around 45 minutes at a leisurely pace.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Provincetown. Start from the center of Provincetown and head east on Commercial Street toward Winslow Street. Turn left onto Bradford Street and follow it until you reach Route 6. Carefully cross Route 6 and continue straight onto the paved bike path.
