From the center of Provincetown, head north on Commercial Street toward the intersection with Bradford Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Conwell Street. Turn left onto Conwell Street and follow it as it curves slightly to the right. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 6. Here, you'll see a sign for High Pole Hill. Follow the paved path that leads into the woods. The path will gradually incline, and you will reach the summit of High Pole Hill, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Provincetown and the surrounding area.
Biking
If you have a bicycle, start at the center of Provincetown, heading north on Commercial Street. Continue to the intersection with Bradford Street, then turn left onto Conwell Street. Follow Conwell Street until you reach Route 6. Look for the entrance to High Pole Hill on your right, marked by a sign. Ride your bike up the path that leads to the hill’s summit. Be cautious of the incline and enjoy the ride and the views as you ascend.
Public Transportation
While there is no direct public transportation to High Pole Hill, you can take the local shuttle, which operates during peak seasons. Board the shuttle at any of the designated stops in Provincetown. Request to get off at the closest stop to Route 6 and Conwell Street. From there, walk along Conwell Street until you see the entrance to High Pole Hill on your right. Follow the path to the summit for stunning views.
