Public Transport
From Quincy Center Station, take the MBTA Red Line train towards Alewife and get off at Park Street Station. Transfer to the Green Line train towards Lechmere and get off at Government Center. From there, take the Blue Line towards Wonderland and get off at Aquarium Station. Exit the station and walk towards Long Wharf. From Long Wharf, you can catch a ferry to Gloucester. Once you arrive in Gloucester, follow the signs to Eastern Point Lighthouse, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from the ferry terminal.
Bus
Start at the Quincy Adams Bus Terminal. Board the MBTA bus #214 towards Braintree Station. Get off at the Braintree Station and transfer to the bus #350 towards Gloucester. The bus will take you directly to Gloucester. Once you arrive, you can walk to Eastern Point Lighthouse, which is about 1.5 miles away and will take approximately 30 minutes.
Bicycle
If you are comfortable cycling, rent a bike in Quincy and head towards the South Shore Coastal Path. Follow the path north along the coastline, which will lead you towards Gloucester. The ride is scenic and will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Gloucester, use local bike lanes to navigate towards Eastern Point Lighthouse, which is about 1 mile from the town center.
