Getting There

  • Public Transit - Bus

    From your location in Quincy, walk to the nearest bus stop. You can take the MBTA bus route 210 towards Ashmont Station. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the Ashmont Station. Once there, transfer to the Red Line train towards Alewife. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the Park Street Station. From Park Street, follow the signs to the Boston Common, where the Freedom Trail starts. It's a short walk from there.

    If you are near Quincy Center, you can walk to the Quincy Adams MBTA Station. Head north on Hancock Street, then turn left on Washington Street. Continue walking until you reach the station. From Quincy Adams, take the Red Line train towards Alewife. Get off at Park Street Station in Boston. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Boston Common to start your journey on the Freedom Trail.

  • Public Transit - Subway

    If you are close to the North Quincy MBTA Station, take the Red Line train towards Ashmont. Ride for about 10 minutes until you reach the Park Street Station. Once you are at Park Street, follow the signs to Boston Common, which is the starting point of the Freedom Trail. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the station to the Common.
