Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the Quincy Center subway station, exit onto Hancock Street and head south towards the intersection with Quincy Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and walk for another 0.5 miles. You'll then come to the Quincy Adams subway station. Take the Red Line towards Ashmont or Braintree and travel to Park Street Station in downtown Boston. Once you arrive at Park Street Station, exit towards Tremont Street. From there, walk east on Tremont Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach Province Street. Turn left onto Province Street and walk north for about 0.1 miles. The Josiah Quincy III Statue will be on your right at 45 Province St.

• Bus

  From Quincy Center, head to the bus stop at the intersection of Hancock Street and Quincy Avenue. Take the MBTA bus #220 towards the Alewife station. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the Alewife station. Transfer to the subway at Alewife and take the Red Line towards Ashmont or Braintree. Get off at Park Street Station. Exit towards Tremont Street and walk east for 0.3 miles. Turn left onto Province Street and walk north for 0.1 miles to reach the Josiah Quincy III Statue located at 45 Province St.
