Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

  From Waltham, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the MBTA bus route 67 towards Quincy. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Quincy Adams Station' stop. From there, transfer to the Braintree-bound Red Line subway. After 3 stops, get off at 'Quincy Center Station.' Once you exit the station, walk south on Hancock Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach Adams Street. Turn left onto Adams Street, and you will find the Adams National Historical Park at 135 Adams St.

• Public Transit - Train

  Walk to the nearest commuter rail station, Waltham Station. Board the MBTA Fitchburg Line train towards North Station. Transfer at South Station to the Red Line subway (Braintree-bound). Travel for 5 stops to reach 'Quincy Center Station.' After exiting the station, head south along Hancock Street for approximately 0.5 miles until you arrive at Adams Street. Make a left onto Adams Street, and you will see the Adams National Historical Park at 135 Adams St.

• Bicycle

  If you are comfortable cycling, rent a bike from a local rental service in Waltham. Start by heading south on Main Street towards Newton Street. Continue onto Washington Street and follow it until you reach the junction with Quincy Avenue. Turn right onto Quincy Avenue and continue straight until you reach Adams Street. Take a left on Adams Street, and you will find the Adams National Historical Park located at 135 Adams St.

• Walking

  If you are up for a walk, start at Waltham Common. Head east on Main Street, then turn left onto Crescent Street. Continue straight as it becomes Washington Street, and make your way to Quincy Avenue. Once you reach Quincy Avenue, turn right and walk until you reach Adams Street. Turn left onto Adams Street, and you will arrive at the Adams National Historical Park at 135 Adams St.
