Bus
From Waltham, walk to the nearest bus stop for the 70 or 70A bus route, which can be accessed on Main Street at the Waltham Common. Board the bus heading towards Alewife Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 25-30 minutes until you reach Alewife Station. From there, transfer to the Alewife to Alewife Train Line (Red Line) towards Ashmont/Braintree. Get off at Downtown Crossing Station, which will take about 15 minutes. Once you exit the station, walk towards Washington Street, then take a left onto Atlantic Avenue. Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park will be on your right after a short walk.

Make your way to the Waltham MBTA Commuter Rail Station located on Moody Street. Purchase a ticket to South Station on the Fitchburg Line. The train ride will take about 25 minutes.
