Getting There

• Bus

  If you are starting from Waltham, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main St. Take the 70 or 70A bus towards Alewife. Ride for approximately 20 minutes until you reach Alewife station. Transfer to the Alewife subway line (Red Line) and head towards Ashmont. After about 25 minutes, get off at Park Street Station. From Park Street, transfer to the Green Line (C or D train) towards Government Center. Get off at Government Center and then walk about 5 minutes to 539 Washington St, Boston, MA 02111.

• Train

  Start at the Waltham train station located on Moody St. Board the commuter rail train towards South Station. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at South Station, exit the station and walk for about 10 minutes towards Washington St. You will find the Citizens Opera House at 539 Washington St, Boston, MA 02111.

• Bicycle

  If you're up for a bike ride, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Waltham. Start on the Charles River Bike Path heading towards Boston. The ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Follow the path along the river until you reach the Boston city limits. Continue on the bike lanes until you reach Washington St. The Citizens Opera House will be located at 539 Washington St, Boston, MA 02111.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start at Waltham Common and head south on Main St towards Washington St. Continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Washington St. Cross over to Washington St and head towards Boston. The Citizens Opera House will be approximately 3 miles down Washington St at 539 Washington St, Boston, MA 02111.
