Public Transit (Bus)
If you are starting from downtown Waltham, walk to the Waltham MBTA Bus Terminal located on Main Street. From there, take the MBTA bus #67 towards 'Melrose'. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. When you reach Salem, get off at the stop closest to the Salem Common. From the Salem Common, walk east on Washington Street until you reach Derby Street. Turn left on Derby Street, and you will find the Custom House at 176 Derby St on your right.

If you are near the Waltham Common, head towards Main Street and walk north until you reach the intersection with Moody Street. Turn left onto Moody Street and continue walking until you reach the Waltham MBTA Train Station. From there, take the commuter rail towards 'North Station'. Get off at the Salem station. Once you arrive in Salem, head east on Washington Street, then turn left onto Derby Street. The Custom House will be located at 176 Derby St on your right.
