Once you arrive at North Station, transfer to the Orange Line towards Oak Grove. Ride the Orange Line until you reach Haymarket Station. From Haymarket, exit and walk towards the Government Center. Look for the 2nd floor of the terminal, where you can catch the 'Salem Ferry' at the Long Wharf. The ferry will take you directly to Salem. Walk to the nearest bus stop in Waltham, which is located at Main St. & Waverley Oaks Rd. Catch the #70 or #70A bus towards Alewife Station. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach Alewife Station. From there, take the Alewife subway towards Ashmont and transfer at Park Street to the Green Line. Take the Green Line to Government Center. From there, walk to the Long Wharf where the Salem Ferry departs. The ferry terminal is located at 10 Blaney St, Salem, MA 01970.
