Bus
From Waltham, walk to the nearest bus stop at Waltham Station on Main St. Take the MBTA Commuter Rail train on the Fitchburg Line towards North Station. Get off at the North Station stop. Once at North Station, transfer to the Orange Line subway heading towards Forest Hills. Get off at Haymarket Station. From Haymarket, exit the station and walk to the Haymarket bus terminal. Catch the Salem Express bus (Route 450) towards Salem. This will take you directly to Salem. Once you arrive in Salem, walk to 8 Central St, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Train
Start at Waltham Station on Main St. Board the MBTA Commuter Rail train on the Fitchburg Line towards North Station. After arriving at North Station, transfer to the Orange Line subway and take it towards Oak Grove. Get off at Haymarket Station. From Haymarket Station, exit and walk to the Salem Express bus terminal. Take the Route 450 Salem bus to Salem. Upon arriving in Salem, walk 10 minutes to 8 Central St.
Walking
If you're already in downtown Waltham, you can walk to the Waltham Station on Main St. Follow Main St north towards the intersection with Moody St. Continue straight until you reach the station. From there, board the Fitchburg Line train towards North Station. After reaching North Station, switch to the Orange Line subway and ride towards Oak Grove. Disembark at Haymarket Station and head to the Salem Express bus terminal. Take the Route 450 bus to Salem, and once you arrive, make a 10-minute walk to 8 Central St.
