Walking
From the Waltham Common, head east on Main Street towards the intersection with Moody Street. Turn left onto Moody Street and continue straight until you reach the Waltham MBTA train station. Take the commuter rail towards North Station in Boston. Once you arrive at North Station, transfer to the Orange Line and take the train towards Oak Grove. Get off at Haymarket station, then transfer to the Green Line at Government Center. Head towards the Lechmere station and get off at the next stop, which is Park Street. Finally, switch to the Red Line towards Alewife and get off at Alewife. From there, take the 450 bus towards Salem and get off at the Salem Depot. Walk towards Derby Square; the Old Town Hall will be right in front of you at 32 Derby Square.
Public Transportation
From Waltham, walk to the Waltham MBTA train station and take the commuter rail towards North Station in Boston. At North Station, transfer to the Orange Line and travel towards Haymarket. Once you reach Haymarket, transfer to the Green Line towards Government Center, and then switch to the Red Line at Park Street. Continue on the Red Line towards Alewife and get off at Alewife. At Alewife, take the 450 bus towards Salem. Alight at the Salem Depot, and from there, it’s a short walk to Derby Square where the Old Town Hall is located at 32 Derby Square.
