If you are in downtown Waltham, start by heading east on Main Street toward Waltham Common. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Moody Street. Turn left onto Moody Street and walk for another 0.3 miles. From there, cross the Charles River via the Moody Street Bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue straight onto River Street, and then take a right onto Main Street. Walk about 1.5 miles until you reach the Waltham MBTA Station. Take the commuter rail toward South Station in Boston. Once you arrive at South Station, exit the station and head northeast on Summer Street. Turn left onto Federal Street, and then right onto Congress Street. Continue until you reach Government Center where the Samuel Adams Statue is located.

Public Transit
From Waltham, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the #70 bus toward Alewife Station. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at Alewife Station. Transfer to the Alewife subway line, and take the Red Line toward Ashmont. After about 30 minutes, get off at Park Street Station. From Park Street, take the Green Line toward Government Center. Get off at the Government Center station. The Samuel Adams Statue is a short walk from there, just outside the entrance.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local bike-share program. Start at Waltham Common and head east on Main Street. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with River Street. Turn left onto River Street and continue biking until you reach the Moody Street Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow River Street as it turns into Main Street. Continue on Main Street for about 1.5 miles until you reach the Waltham MBTA Station. From there, follow the same route as walking to South Station, and then navigate to Government Center to find the statue.
