From the city of Atar, take the N1 highway heading southwest. After approximately 90 kilometers, you will reach the town of Ouadane. Continue on the N1 for another 70 kilometers until you see signs for the Richat Structure. Turn off the highway and follow the dirt road for about 40 kilometers to reach the site. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain, as parts of the road may be unpaved.
