Car
From Néma, head northwest on Route N1 towards the town of Kiffa. Continue for approximately 130 km until you reach Kiffa. Once in Kiffa, take the Route N3 heading west towards the coastal town of Nouakchott. After about 350 km, follow the signs towards Banc d'Arguin National Park. The park is accessible via a dirt road leading to the entrance. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road travel as the last few kilometers may be rough.
Public Transportation
From Néma, take a shared taxi (brousses) to Kiffa, which costs around 1,500 MRU (Mauritanian Ouguiya) and takes about 2-3 hours. In Kiffa, transfer to another shared taxi heading to Nouakchott, costing approximately 6,000 MRU and taking around 6 hours. Upon reaching Nouakchott, you can take a taxi to the entrance of Banc d'Arguin National Park. Be prepared to negotiate the taxi fare, which should be around 2,000 MRU for the trip to the park entrance.
