Walking
From the center of Bel Ombre, head southeast towards the main road, B9. Once you reach B9, turn right and walk along the road. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route Royale. At this point, you can see the sign for Chamouny. Turn left onto Route Royale and continue for another 1 kilometer. You will notice the area becoming more rural and lush. Look for signs indicating Cascade Cécile. As you approach Chamouny, take the path leading to the left, which will take you to the waterfall area. The walk takes around 30-40 minutes, and it's a picturesque route.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Bel Ombre, locate the nearest bus stop along B9. Board a bus heading towards Souillac. Inform the bus driver that you wish to get off at Chamouny, which is about 3 kilometers away. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Chamouny, ask locals for directions to Cascade Cécile, as it is a well-known spot. After disembarking, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer through the village and follow the signs to the waterfall. The total journey from Bel Ombre, including waiting times, could take about 1 hour.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Bel Ombre and cycle southeast towards the main road, B9. Turn right onto B9 and cycle for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach Route Royale. Turn left onto Route Royale and continue for another 1 kilometer. The route is generally flat and offers beautiful views of the landscape. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Cascade Cécile as you approach Chamouny. The cycling journey should take around 15-20 minutes, making it a refreshing way to reach the waterfall.
