Walking
From any hotel or accommodation in Bel Ombre, start by heading towards the main road (B9). Once you reach the B9, turn left to head south. Continue walking along this road for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with the access road to the beach. Look for signs indicating Baie du Jacotet. Turn right onto this access road and follow it for about 500 meters. You will see signs directing you to the beach area. The entrance to Baie du Jacotet will be marked, and you can follow the path leading down to the bay.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can make your way to Baie du Jacotet more efficiently. Start from your accommodation and ride towards the main road (B9). Turn left on B9, and cycle south for about 1.5 km. Look out for the access road on your right, which will lead you directly to the beach area. As you approach the turn, there should be signage for Baie du Jacotet. Follow the access road for about 500 meters, and you will arrive at the bay entrance. Secure your bike at the designated area before heading down to the beach.
Public Transport (bus)
To get to Baie du Jacotet via public transport, find the nearest bus stop along the B9 road. Take a bus heading towards Souillac or Bel Ombre. Inform the bus driver that you would like to get off at the stop for Baie du Jacotet. This should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, walk down the access path leading to the bay, which is about 500 meters from the bus stop. Be attentive to the signs that mark the entrance to the bay.
