Getting There

Walking
From the center of Belle Mare, head north towards the main road (A1). Once you reach the A1, turn left and walk along the roadside. Continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and restaurants along the way. Keep an eye out for a sign indicating the direction to Rochester Falls. After about 2 kilometers, you will see a sign pointing towards A9. Follow the sign and continue straight for another 1 kilometer until you reach Rochester Falls. The falls will be on your left side.

Public Bus
Locate the nearest bus stop in Belle Mare, which is usually found along the main road (A1). Take a bus heading towards Mahébourg or Souillac. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at the A9 junction. The journey will take about 20 minutes. Once you reach the A9 junction, disembark and walk for about 10 minutes along A9, following the signs to Rochester Falls, which will be on your left.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Belle Mare. Start cycling north towards A1. Once on A1, turn left and bike for about 2 kilometers. You will pass some local attractions and shops. After reaching the sign for A9, turn right and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer until you arrive at Rochester Falls, located on your left.
