Explore Montego Bay Jamaica to Pelican Bar & Appleton Rum Factory

An Amazing Jamaican Experience

Leon and Nigel shared fantastic stories and experiences on the way to Floyd’s Pelican Bar. On the way there, the devastation from the hurricane the year before was still overwhelming — but how amazing was it to make it out to the sandbar and be in a restaurant that was almost like a metaphor for Jamaica?! They’re rebuilding their home, and keeping it as special as it was before. (See if you can find our carving, and you should absolutely do your own.) Also, the food is so delicious! It was a truly unique experience, and they’ve aptly named their touring agency. We highly recommend their services.

Appleton Estate Rum Tasting and YS Falls

Flexible and friendly drivers

This was a great tour! Patrick was an awesome driver and guide and the company was flexible when part of our tour got canceled. We went to YS Falls and were scheduled to also go to Appleton Estate, but found out that they had hurricane damage and were not open. Patrick took us to a souvenir shop instead per our request, and the company gave a partial refund. Overall we were very happy with our tour and would book again!

Private YS Falls & Appleton Estate Rum tour from Montego Bay

Appleton - yes!

Appleton tour was great experience. Cocktails from start to finish. The staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Allowed ample time to take pictures and ask questions. Rum tasting with explanation of flavor profiles was nice touch! Definitely recommend the tour. As for the tour provider, they knew when I initially booked, where my pick up would be. I was informed the day before the tour that I would have to pay additional $$ as my resort was farther. That would have been nice to know. The tour guide/driver, Asif, was great. So knowledgeable, respectful, made me feel safe on the road and on the sites. I would recommend this tour - if Asif was my guide! Thanks for the experience.
