Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Black River, start at the main square. Head southwest on Royal Road towards the coast for about 500 meters. You will pass local shops and cafes along the way. Continue walking until you reach the waterfront. At the waterfront, turn left and walk along the beach promenade for approximately 300 meters. Keep an eye out for the La Balise Marina signs. Once you reach La Balise Marina, look for the entrance marked 'L'Estuaire'. JPH Charters is located at this point of embarkation.

• Public Bus

  From anywhere in Black River, find the nearest bus stop and board a bus heading towards La Balise Marina. The bus fare is very affordable, usually around 20-30 MUR. Inform the bus driver that you are going to La Balise Marina. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, follow the signs to L'Estuaire, which will lead you directly to JPH Charters.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Black River. Start from the rental shop and head southwest towards the coast on Royal Road. Continue until you reach the beachfront promenade. Turn left and cycle along the promenade for about 300 meters. Look for signs pointing to La Balise Marina and follow them to reach L'Estuaire where JPH Charters is located.

• Taxi

  You can easily find a taxi in Black River. Simply approach any taxi stand or call for one from your accommodation. Tell the driver that you want to go to JPH Charters at L'Estuaire, La Balise Marina. The journey should take around 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure you confirm the fare before departing, usually it should be around 100-150 MUR.
