Getting There

• Walking

  From the Blue Bay beach, head west along the coastline towards the Blue Bay Marine Park. Continue walking past the park entrance until you reach the main road (A1). Turn left onto the A1 road, heading towards Mahébourg. Walk for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Route 5 (near the Blue Bay village). Cross the road and take Route 5 towards Carreau Accacia. Continue for about 2 km, enjoying the scenery. Once you reach Carreau Accacia, look for signs indicating Bassin bii, which is located at GMP9+F5. The area is a short walk from the main road.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From Blue Bay, walk to the nearest bus stop on the A1 road. Take a bus heading towards Mahébourg. Get off at the stop for Carreau Accacia, which is approximately 10-15 minutes away. Once you disembark, walk straight down Route 5 for about 1 km. Look out for signs directing you to Bassin bii at GMP9+F5. Follow the signs until you arrive at the destination.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Blue Bay. Start your journey by heading west along the coastline towards the Blue Bay Marine Park. Once you reach the main road (A1), turn left and cycle towards Mahébourg. Keep cycling for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Route 5. Turn onto Route 5 and continue for approximately 2 km until you reach Carreau Accacia. Follow the signs to Bassin bii at GMP9+F5, which is a short distance from the main road.
