Getting There

    From the center of Blue Bay, head towards the beach. Walk along the coastal road (Coastal Road) heading south. This will take you past several local shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout at the end of the beach. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the B13 road towards Mahebourg. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by the Blue Bay Marine Park on your left. Keep an eye on the signs as you approach Mahebourg. Once you see the signs for Pointe Canon, turn left onto the smaller road that leads towards the waterfront. Walk straight until you reach Pointe Canon, which is marked by a historical landmark and offers beautiful views of the lagoon.

    From Blue Bay, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road. You can catch a local bus heading towards Mahebourg. The buses are frequent and a small fare is required (exact change is often needed). Once on the bus, request the driver to let you off near Mahebourg Market. After getting off, walk towards the waterfront; follow the signs towards Pointe Canon. It’s a short walk from the market area to Pointe Canon, which will take approximately 15 minutes.
