If you are traveling by car, start from the Chamarel Coloured Earth area. Head south on Route C3 towards the junction with Route C1. Continue straight until you reach the junction. Turn left onto Route C1 and follow the signs towards Vacoas-Phoenix. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Sophie Nature Walk, which is located at JFFP+425, Vacoas-Phoenix. Parking is available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Sophie Nature Walk via public transportation, you can take a bus from Chamarel to Vacoas. Look for buses with a destination of Vacoas or Phoenix. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Vacoas, you may need to take a short taxi ride to JFFP+425, as public transport does not directly service this location. Expect to pay around 200-300 MUR for the taxi ride.

If you are already in the vicinity of Sophie Nature Walk and prefer to walk, start from the Chamarel Coloured Earth site. It’s a scenic walk, approximately 4 kilometers. Take the path heading towards Route C1 and follow the road signs to Vacoas-Phoenix. The walk will take approximately 50-60 minutes, and you can enjoy the lush surroundings along the way.
