Walking
From the center of Chamarel, head east on the main road (Route C3) until you reach the intersection. Continue straight for about 1.5 km. You will pass by stunning views of the Chamarel Seven Colored Earths on your left. Keep walking until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left fork, which leads towards Grand Bassin. Follow this road for another 2 km, and you will find the entrance to Grand Bassin on your right.

Begin at the nearest bus stop in Chamarel. Look for a bus heading towards Grand Bassin or any bus that indicates it goes to the nearby area. The bus will take you along Route C3. You should tell the driver you want to get off at Grand Bassin. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, you will be very close to the lake entrance.
