Walking
From the center of Chamarel, head north towards the main road (Royal Road). Once you reach the intersection with Royal Road, turn left and continue walking straight. You will pass through a few shops and local eateries. Keep walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Take the right path, and continue on Royal Road. After about 3 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Mahebourg. The Mahebourg Museum will be on your right side at HPM3+F8G, Royal Rd.

From Chamarel, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the main road (Royal Road). Look for buses heading towards Mahebourg; they usually have signs indicating their destination. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride, which will take about 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the Mahebourg Museum. Once you arrive, the museum will be a short walk from the bus drop-off point along Royal Road.
