Walking
From the central area of Chamarel, head towards the main road (B103) that leads out of the village. As you walk, keep an eye out for the signs pointing toward Black River. Once you reach the junction with the B103, turn left. Continue walking along the B103 for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the Coastal Road (Coastal Rd) junction. At the Coastal Road, turn right and walk for about 500 meters. The Martello Tower Museum will be on your right, directly facing the coast.
Bus
From Chamarel, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the B103 road. Look for buses heading towards Black River. Board any bus that indicates Black River as a destination. The bus will take you along the B103. After traveling for about 10-15 minutes, get off at the Coastal Road stop. Once you disembark, walk straight for about 500 meters, and you will see the Martello Tower Museum on your right.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a local taxi from anywhere in Chamarel. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Martello Tower Museum located on Coastal Road in Black River. The journey will take approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off right in front of the museum.
