Walking
From the center of Chamarel, start at the Chamarel Waterfall viewpoint. Head southeast on the main road, Route C3, towards the village of Gris-Gris. After about 1 km, you will reach the intersection with Route C1. Continue straight on Route C1 for approximately 6 km until you reach the coastal area near Pointe d'Esny. As you approach the coastline, you will see signs for Pointe d'Esny, guiding you to the beach. Follow the signs to the beach area where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Public Transport
From Chamarel, you can take a local bus heading towards Mahebourg. Board the bus at the Chamarel bus stop. This bus will take you along the scenic route, passing through various villages. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Mahebourg bus station. From there, you can catch another local bus or walk to Pointe d'Esny, which is approximately 5 km to the east. Follow the signs towards Pointe d'Esny or ask locals for directions.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Chamarel. Start at the main square and head southeast on the main road, Route C3. This route will take you through lush landscapes. After about 1 km, turn left onto Route C1 and continue for about 6 km. You will eventually reach the coastline near Pointe d'Esny. Park your bicycle at the beach and enjoy the stunning views.
