Walking
From the center of Chamarel, head southeast along the main road towards the village of Vacoas-Phoenix. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn right onto the road leading to Vacoas-Phoenix. Walk for another 1 kilometer, and you will see a sign for Sophie Nature Walk on your left. Follow the path that leads into the park.
Public Bus
Start at the Chamarel bus stop and take a bus towards Vacoas. The bus will take you along the main road. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Vacoas bus station. From the bus station, walk southeast along the main road for about 1 kilometer until you see the sign for Sophie Nature Walk on your left. Follow the path into the park.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Chamarel. Start by heading southeast on the main road towards Vacoas-Phoenix. Continue for about 3 kilometers. When you reach the junction, turn right onto the road towards Vacoas. After cycling for another kilometer, keep an eye out for the sign for Sophie Nature Walk on your left. Park your bicycle and enjoy your nature walk.
