Walking
From the center of Chamarel, head south on the main road towards B103 - Plaine Champagne Road. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass the Chamarel Waterfall viewpoint on your right, which is a great photo opportunity. Once you reach the B103 road, turn left and walk about 1 kilometer further. The entrance to Black River Gorges National Park will be on your right.

From Chamarel, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road. Catch the bus heading towards 'Black River' or 'Plaine Champagne'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop labeled 'Plaine Champagne'. From the bus stop, walk about 1 kilometer along B103 - Plaine Champagne Road to reach the entrance of Black River Gorges National Park.
