Walking
From the center of Chamarel, head south on the main road (Route C12) towards Le Morne. Walk approximately 3.5 kilometers. You'll pass several local shops and scenic views along the way. Continue walking until you reach the fork in the road, then take the left path which leads directly to Le Morne. Keep following this path until you see signs for Le Morne World Heritage Site.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Chamarel. Start by cycling south on Route C12. The ride is about 3.5 kilometers and will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Follow the same route as when walking, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. When you reach the fork, take the left path leading to Le Morne. Look for the signs directing you to the World Heritage Site.
Public Transport
Walk to the nearest bus stop in Chamarel and take a bus heading towards Le Morne. Confirm with the driver that they will stop near Le Morne World Heritage Site. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the directional signs to the entrance of the site, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
