Flacq Village Food Tour

Flacq foodie foray

Ashvin was very knowledgeable and engaging. We learnt a lot about the mix of cultures on Mauritius and their impact on food and life in general. A short visit to the Tamil temple just outside the town - then an interesting visit to a cooperative gardens followed with tastings of chutneys/jams. Great dhall puri in Flacq and a tasty light curry at another venue. Ended with a short visit to the market. Overall a good experience if slightly expensive for the food alone - but Ashvins humour and bonne homie made up for it.

Farmer's Market Tour & Cooking Class

Highly recommended

We had such a wonderful time at the cooking course! Learning how to prepare the fish curry was not only fun but also truly delicious – a perfect balance of flavors and spices. The visit of the local market was also remarkable. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, patience, and the little tips that made all the difference. It was such a special experience to share this with my girlfriend during our time in Mauritius. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and heartfelt culinary experience!
