Start from the center of Grand Baie, specifically at the Grand Baie Beach. Head northeast along the coast toward Bain Boeuf. Continue walking along the beach for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Bain Boeuf public beach. From there, follow the coastal road (Route C3) heading towards Cap Malheureux. You will see signs for Coin de Mire. The walk is scenic, and you'll enjoy views of the ocean and local flora.

Public Bus
From Grand Baie, locate the bus stop near the beach. Take a local bus heading towards Cap Malheureux. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Cap Malheureux, ask the driver to let you off at the Coin de Mire stop. From the bus stop, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the viewpoint where you can see Coin de Mire island.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Grand Baie. Head northeast along the coastal path towards Bain Boeuf. Once you reach Bain Boeuf public beach, continue cycling along the coastal road (Route C3) towards Cap Malheureux. The ride is approximately 3 kilometers and offers beautiful sea views. Once you reach Cap Malheureux, park your bicycle and walk a short distance to the viewpoint for Coin de Mire.
