Walking
From the center of Grand Gaube, head south towards the beach area. Walk along the coastal path that runs beside the beach, enjoying the view of the ocean. Continue walking for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the main road, Route Coastal, which leads to Grand Baie. Once you reach Route Coastal, turn left and continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Grand Baie will be on your right, and you will see signs directing you to the main beach area.
Public Bus
From Grand Gaube, head to the nearest bus stop located on Route Coastal. Buses heading to Grand Baie are frequent. You can catch bus number 108 or 109. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Grand Baie, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, walk towards the beach area, which is only a 5-minute walk away.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Grand Gaube. Start by heading south towards Route Coastal. Once on the main road, head left towards Grand Baie. The cycling route is scenic and takes about 20-25 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the coastal views and fresh air. Follow the signs for Grand Baie, and when you reach the beach area, you can park your bicycle in the designated racks.
