If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Grand Port. Head northwest on the A10 road towards Curepipe. Continue straight for about 15 km. As you approach Curepipe, look for the signs directing you to Lavigie Forest. You will need to turn onto Unnamed Road, where Lavigie Forest is located at coordinates MG6J+X3X. There is parking available near the entrance of the forest.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Grand Port to Curepipe. Buses run frequently and the fare is approximately 30 MUR. Once you arrive at the Curepipe bus station, you can either take a taxi or walk to Lavigie Forest. If opting for a taxi, it should cost around 200 MUR to reach the forest. The forest is located on Unnamed Road, which is a short distance away from the bus station.
